I'm leaving several boxes of Girl Scout cookies (why do I always order so many?) for anyone to sample. After weeks of single digit temperatures and 10 inches of snow we here in Indiana have had balmy temperatures up into the high 60's. Unfortunately, that won't last but we enjoyed it for a few days. Think spring!! Cheryl

I'm cuddled up around the campfire again this morning. Somethiing just isn't right. It is 37 right now in Apache Junction---feels like 32 and it is 57 back home in Tennessee!!! LOL Someone stole our warm weather. I went over to water areobics with my jeans over my swimsuit yesterday and the cover was still over the pool and no one else was there. I didn't want to be a wimp. I came back home and got back into my sweatshirt!! LOL!!! GS cookies sounds good. I want some of those thin mints!!! I threw some more logs on the fire and it is crackling good!!

But I had some help!!! Also found Cedar's stash of wine and had a couple of those two. She had them hid for the winter I think!!!

Girl Scout thin mints and Recipe for me, thank you! Wine I never learned to like!

The fire feels very good tonight, in spite of the warm weather up here in the north, and the RAIN! This should be SNOW coming down!

I am leaving some more firewood, and some very dark chocolate (65% cacao) for snacking while watching the flames of this great fire!

Have a warm night, you all!

Happy travels!

thanks for keeping the home fires burning. Just listened to a 50 mph wind make it through...all the while seeing the sun setting in the west behibd it. so it will be brief...but still sounds scary. Will need to complete a fence check later to be sure a tree or branch didn't create an opportunity for the pups. I will check on the fire as soon as it is safe to head back out without ducking flying things :)

ahhhhh, home again, well at least the fire feels toasty warm and its cold
outside. I've been working on my frickin computer all afternoon trying to
fix it, had the phone company out to check the phone line, its working
fine, my "very old" phone is fried, but that doesn't explain why my computer
got screwed up. The modem troubleshooter says its working fine, both of
them, but they are not hearing the dialtone. The other thing thats weird
is the port numbers were changed. I think the virus did it. So anyway, I
got tired of trying to fix it and finally got the old one out and hooked up
to check in on your ladies. I see I have lots to catch up on. I think I'm
gonna have to break down and buy myself a laptop, maybe I can find a
place online somewhere and get a good deal.
Gotta run, having trouble staying online so I'll catch ya tomorrow.

Ava
I have both a desk top (older) and a Laptop computer. Was really surprised how much I like and use the laptop; don't think I'll ever buy another desk top model. Don't know what you are considering but suggest you look carefully at the laptops.

Did anyone find the rest of those Girl Scout cookies?

I, too, am contemplating a laptop to replace this old desk top I have. I'm thing probably a Dell of some sort. I keep getting ads from them but nothing has interested me enough to put down any money. Cheryl

Hey gals---got to feeling guilty about finishing off all those Girl Scout Cookies so I restocked one of everything and picked up some warm Crispy Creams to boot!! Enjoy. Got my hot choc. and I'm looking for Echo's stash of whatever it is she puts in her coffee to warm her up and when I find it, I'm going to add some to my hot choc. It is still cool here in Az.

Oh, Fernie -

Thanks (gobble) for the (gobble) addition of (gobble) more goodies (gobble). Fire feels good this morning. We're having cool weather in CA, too, and more rain expected tomorrow through Sunday. Anyone have plans for an ark?

I did a search Lori and on Jan. 10th, you left 114 bottles of beer on the wall.

So, with all I got going on with my sis in Texas, I'll take one so that leaves 113 bottles of beer on the wall---113 bottles of beer.....!!!!
