Either that or on the bar at Coyote Ugly!! LOL! Had to hold her back there one nite! Between picking Tina's and Carol's chins up off the table and hanging onto Carolyn so she wouldn't jump on the bar and dance, I had my hands full!
Only Irish coffee provides in a single glass all four essential food groups: alcohol, caffeine, sugar and fat.
Carolyn, I am sure you will be in a bit of pain, but it won't be like before. You will be back dancing on the bars in no time at all. Can't wait to hear all about your PT and then how great you are feeling. Continued prayers for your speedy recovery.

Thanks for the update, Becky. Do let us know if you hear more.
Since Carolyn is not on Medicare yet, not sure about length of hospital stay that is covered. I do know from experience that unless there is a complication the stay is 3 days max. under Medicare for any joint replacement. That means our Carolyn should be getting out today or tomorrow.
Know she is in good hands there and bet she will be dancing on those tables real soon.
The only major handicap in life is a bad attitude!
Well hello, Ladies! I'm doing great! Therapy is a challenge for me but I have determination. PT came to home today and for the next 2 weeks. Taylor gave me her bedroom since that bed it taller and therefore easier to get in & out of & it's closer to the bathroom.
Jonathan is a drill sergeant but he loves that. He has a list of what meds to take & when. It's kind of nice.
I'm actually doing better than I thought I would be at this time. I can tell each day I'm getting stronger. My stride is smooth and even which is quite a feat in itself.
The surgeon, Dr Brooks, said it looked like someone had taken a file and poked around behind the knee cap all around the joint. It was not going to get better no matter what he did so I did good in going ahead with the procedure. The staff was very nice and professional at the hospital. I'm doing fine and can't wait to start dancing again...
Hi carolyn! So glad you are doing so well and on your way to recovery. My son is doing well after his hip replacement, seems like these things are becoming so routine. Well ,more so for those of us not being the ones who are cut on! It won't seem right having your gtg without you, looks like there will be four of us. What is there around that area we might like to do? Sarah has planned some outlet shopping. And I'm up for another cruise whenever you want to celebrate your birthday, my birthday, Tuesday, national anything day.....You get the idea? GET WELL SOON! Wendy
Carolyn, so good to hear from you and that's wonderful news! You sound like you come from hearty stock. Not sure how I would be if it were me. Will continue prayers as you recover.
