I love Halloween, Sandi, always have, always will, ever since I was a small child.
I live in a largely "anti-vax - anti-mask" area (with the attendant infection and death rate), and so, after much thought, I regretfully decided not to celebrate Halloween for the second year in a row this year.
I guess I am just too much of a chicken, especially considering that most children of Trick-or-Treat age will not yet be vaccinated. And probably most here never will be at all, considering the area I live in.
Makes me very, very sad. Last year was the first year in - at least - fifty years I did not decorate my house up to the "nines" for Halloween. Makes me extremely sad, to the point of weeping.
BUT.
Seeing your happy and cheerful Halloween message/painting, I feel considerably cheered.
Hopefully, and God willing, this wretched plague will finally (somehow!) be put in the rear-view mirror, and I will still be around this time next year to celebrate a blow-out Halloween.
Thank you so much, Sandi. Very much appreciated. You made my day.
