Questions aren't silly, just helps to know what has already been brought up to see if that changes the questions you still want to ask.

Keys being the same have helped many people. One couple were setting up - baby was sleeping inside. Their 3 year old decided to be good and locked the deadbolt on the door, then exited by the cab door which he locked also. They didn't have the keys outside - no entrance. One of us provided our key for the compartments - they opened and emptied the one under the sofa and their enterprising 3 year old climbed in and managed to raise the sofa to go unlock the door he had industriously locked just a short time later. Baby slept through it all. Have helped a few others into locked rigs in similar fashions over the years.

And, yes, there are no stupid questions. OK, maybe silly ones (kidding) but we all have to learn sometime - and you'll be amazed how many others are wondering the exact same thing.
