Thanks Orchid.
She sent me pics yesterday of her face. Boy is she breaking out, but after researching I found that that is fairly common with being pregnant. She is going to talk to her doc when she goes in this coming Friday.
Please keep her in your prayers, as she has had to stop treatment for her injury she got in the accident she had a few days after we got there in June. She got rearended on I 5. Still going to chiro and PT but couldn't take the scheduled MRI to check the discs in her back because of the "munchkin bump". Still in a lot of pain, but toughing it out. She is going to try to go back part time on Monday. Hasn't worked since accident.

Hope the timer works out for her. lol

I still smile when I remember my Aunt Francis. She put her first baby in a dresser drawer(not in the dresser). I never did find out why. She would feed her formula at room temperature instead of heating her bottles. Don't think that she wasn't the talk of the family for years and years. It wasn't like they couldn't afford the best, she was a Jones. You know the people you have to keep up with. She was way ahead of her time. The message I took from her was don't spend money on a bunch of stuff you don't need.

My daughter called me yesterday to brag on her husband. She told me that he told her how beautiful she was as he kissed every breakout on her face, then he took her to the zoo. As they got to the zoo, he told her to wait there for him and he walked off. She wondered where he was going, and then here he came, proudly pushing a wheelchair for her so she could enjoy the whole zoo. She said he spent 4 hours pushing her all over the zoo. I am so happy she has such a wonderful husband and I have a wonderful son in law who loves my daughter. :D

Congratulations on this wonderful news. I just love being a Grammy to our four!!! And I just about split a gut when you wrote about a timer because I just saw a bracelet that had little beads on it for nursing mothers to mark what time they last nursed and what side...wondering how all our kids survived???

Really? I guess the person making the jewelery might make a little money off the sale from those that have no experience. ...as in which side is leaking the worst at the moment.  Which side has a plugged milk duck that needs work  :D. Or with my second I didn't have as much milk so it was which side had some left for the hungry girl.... ;)

I was an underpaid educator when I was experiencing motherhood so I really didn't have a lot for any extras. I will say I used the "dresser drawer" image as my water mark. If kids could survive dresser drawers then I certainly didn't need to feel guilty not buying all the glitzy stuff to decorate that made adults feel better but really didn't add to well fare of my child. If I wanted to stimulate anybody's brain cells, I would have to do that myself.
