Sharon, I’m reading all these replies with a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes….but yet I have a bit of a grin on my face. Because you were the first person who came to visit me while in South Dakota and not only did you come once but twice! I had so much fun with you. You introduced me to geocaching…not that I’ve ever done it again….we found the only two in Avon! Someday after work I should stop at the one site in Springfield and see if I can find that that elusive bugger we couldn’t locate. I think it about you every day when I drive by that welcome sign.
I also admire you for your decision to live life on the road before you retired and am so glad that you had the opportunity to travel to places you wanted to see and do things that you wanted to do. I respect your decision to have quality of life rather than quantity. If you are at peace with that decision so am I.
Love you! I'll never see a Road Trek that I don't think of you.
