It occurred to me that you may not know where Gilbert is, so it is a little southeast of Monroe in the northern part of the state of Louisiana. Thanks for all your help with these changes.

I did this before, but it didn't "stick". I think it's all fixed now!!!

Hmmm, was just looking at the map and it has me over on the eastern shore of Maryland, when actually I should be in Bel Air, which is just a little north of baltimore. I think it has me at Irmi and Steve's place, or maybe shirl's? Maybe I should just go to where it has me on the map? In that case, move me somewhere warm and tropical!

If there is room to add another Texan, I am about 25 miles west of Sweetwater. Not in a town but my mailing address is Hermleigh (it might not be on some maps). That is where my 'stick' house is.

I was up in the Panhandle last week - interesting part of the state.

Its not exactly a tourist destination, which is part of the charm! We are actually just off the caprock. so our area is not on the high plains. This area is kind of a rolling land with draws and creek beds cutting through. Anyway, the welcome mat may be a bit worn and dusty but its definitely there.

I was in the Caprock area - actually at Caprock Canyons and traveled up to Palo Duro - both inside and outside the park.

I like that area. We stayed at the RV park in Canyon last summer going and coming from Colorado. Palo Duro is really a neat place! I like it better in the shoulder seasons when its not so hot.
