Okay Echo...this is getting to be rough on me! Friday night every beer that I took off the wall couldn't be counted because we were at the campground! So lets just say we're down to about 62 bottles of beer! Just before we left the house my DH informed me that I was driving to the campground...panic. I have never pulled the 28' TT...did pull the 19' that we had a couple of times but only for about 20 miles. First trip to this campground and it's about 85 miles. I was white knuckling...but we made it and Dennis didn't even do much back seat driving...however when we pulled into the campground he did tell me that he would take over...it was busy and I didn't want to have an entire loop backed up because I was trying to park. But...I did guzzle my share of brews once we were set up. We were with two other couples...the husbands told their wives that it was time they learned to pull too.

Good for you, dpf. We're all proud of you. Do you notice on this forum that the husbands don't tolerate any of this "I can't drive" nonsense. I'm as proud of the men on this forum as the women. It gets easier every time you do it. I'm still nervous of backing into a site with my C - because I tow I spend my life trying NOT to back up. I may have to get out a few dozen times to check where the back and sides are, but I eventually get there and just think of the exercise I get, in and out of the rig numerous times.

Lori....it's not that bad! I'm more than willing to do it again. I don't plan to learn to hitch up the TT because I am in the process looking/buying a 5er....but I am going to learn to hitch and tow that by myself so I can go when I want and not have to worry about the farm schedule!

Oh, I can hitch the 5er to the truck.....it's my job to do the backing up getting the hitch just right to the neck.....Ernie says I do it better than he does....and I do drive it over from the storage field where we keep it in the summer here at the campground.....but on the Road!!!......not yet.......

I'm home from a Texas Hold 'Em tournament - nope, not in the money - so it's time for a beer and bed!

58 bottles of beer on the wall, 58 bottles of beer, took one down and drank it up - night night !

Yippee, tomorrow is my Friday- after staying up late last night to play TX Hold "Em - I'm about to head to bed early tonight - drinking my normal lemonade lol - but sure enjoy the company of all you ladies around the fire. Can't wait for the real thing with some of you - for sure in Nov - meantime, this one here is so much fun - who has another camp song we can sing? Or you can all sing and I'll listen and enjoy :)

GRRRRRRRR where are those beers, the box of wine, martinis anything.....I just typed up a nice little blurb on Nashville, IN to put in the Interesting Places room. pictures and everything. Just as I was ready to Submit I lost the internet. We are getting the very last outside edge of good ole Fay. We need the rain but leave my internet alone. Probably will lose the TV and lights next. Any way going to grab something and sulk and watch the boob tube - if I can find something but the convention. Will try again tomorrow after I've had coffee.
