Gena, they sounds great. I won't shout from the roof tops yet or do a happy dance, but will hope it all comes through for you. I've spent a lot of time on that area and there's lots to see and do all around there and the rest of Texas and yep, good central location for going most anywhere.

That sounds great! Hope it all comes through. We lived in Houston years ago - especially loved the 'winters' down there... Yes, there are lots of places to see, things to do... Keep us informed & enjoy the adventure...
oh wow, sure hope it pans out, Texas is on my list to get better acquainted with but thats probably a year away yet for me. And if and when you start your trek in the direction of Texas give a shout out when you come through Phoenix area cause I'm here
Good decision!! I'm wearing shorts this weekend and my friends in DC are shoveling snow - even better decision
I don't know that much about RV parks in the area since I have a S&B but do know of a few. A lot is going to depend on where the job is. But there are also state parks and COE parks in the area as well as private parks. And there is a ton of stuff to see and do within a 3-4 hour drive, so we can set you up with all kinds of weekend excursions.
