Electric grill?

when I had a George Foreman I did that to clean but for some reason the coating came off so I blamed
it on doing that method of cleaning but perhaps that wasn't the reason...been wanting one again I like the way
it cooks and if I am going to be plugged in why not? As to electrical grills haven't used them seem easier than using
propane or charcoal

I was guessing they don't really get hot enough for a lot of things. My cooking is boring by itself, without out getting "bored to death"
I'll be getting on the website to order new parts and rebuilding the grill. Why can't cooking be easier?

I've never done the damp paper towel but my method is similar. When I take whatever off I immediately wipe down with a very wet sponge and dribble water all over. After I eat, the rest wipes right off. Just remember to keep the drip tray to catch the water. Can you tell I've removed it? Now that's a mess.

I have tried electric grills and as everyone has said they just don't get hot enough. Kids got us a coleman tailgater gas grill and I love it, a bit pricey, but was a christmas present about 10 years ago and it still likes like almost new. Easy to clean, I have stove outside as well. Have different burner covers, grill, griddle so am able to do just about everything on it.

Have a GF I have never taken in the camper, but do use it at home - will be one of those things that along with bread machine will be tucked inside when I finally get to roll down the road. I am gonna do some grilled country ribs tonight on it so will definitely try the paper towel trick. I hate cleaning it and usually just set it iver the edge of the sick and let water run over it and down the drain.
