I only like dessert wines as I am not much into drinking while I eat really. A couple of Oregon wineries make some really wonderful fruity reds that are beautiful but I can't remember which.

I kinda prefer a little vodka and OJ. However, I have been replacing the OJ with Crystal Light to save on some calories.

Now that I have typed this, I realize how sad it sounds. But in my defense, I have two teenagers and one of them is a 15 year old girl. How else to numb the pain?

Yum...wine! I prefer a dryer wine...white...like the Pinot grigios, chardonnays, Zinfandels. Guess I'm not too picky!

I can so relate to the boones farm wine days. We did a lot of that as teens too! But as I've matured (haha), I find I prefer the less sweet wines.

My BFF and I went to a wine tasting and bluegrass event this past Sunday at Boordy Vinyards, which is local here in Maryland. The band was Jackass Flatts...funny name. Four guys playing some good bluegrass tunes. It was a wonderful afternoon!

There are few red wines that I enjoy....don't like sweet wines at all...Prefer a good Chardonnay...and my favorite in the less expensive ones is Kendall Jackson...about $12 + a bottle....I also try to buy California wines....San Luis Obispo has some good ones & of course Napa Valley ...

My DD & DSinLaw belong to a wine club where they make their wine. They sure have a good time....even stomp on those grapes....Have a picture of that....think maybe they 'tasted' a little in the process.....Those southern Californians are crazy some times...

I'm more of a Margarita person. If I drink wine or beer, I fill a glass with ice and pour it on the ice. You can see I'm a real connoisseur. I like the dark beer and a sweet wine like Riesling. I find that after the second or third glass, just about anything is good.

I'm with Carol on J Lohr Cabernet. Also like Menage A Trois, Fourteen Hands Cabernet, Raymond Cabernet (too expensive for everyday), the occasional Pinot Noir. White wine generally gives me a headache but there is one that I like served really cold on a hot summer's night but cannot think of the name.

I like the Menage a Trois as well. A cousin-in-law used to work as a wine distributor and turned me on to that one.
