I had a really nice birthday, thank-you all again. We went to Chama Gaucha for dinner with friends. Since the sight of the bill didn't have either DH or me keeling over from a heart attack, our hearts must be in pretty good shape. We had never been there before and I think it will be a once in a lifetime event for us. It was good and it was a unique experience but, had we known the price in advance, we wouldn't have enjoyed it. No menus so no clue on price except that our friends have been there before. You help yourself from a unique salad bar with all kinds of goodies. Then you turn a little card over to the green side and waiters carrying around skewers of different kinds of grilled meat stop and ask if you would like some. Good but way too pricey for us.

Almost sounds like a restaurant we have in Salt Lake City now I can't remember the name of it but its a Brazilian something they come around with meat on a skewer and cut you off what you want to try...but didn't seem to be the overly expensive so perhaps is different that what you had
glad that you had a great day

Bill was about $45 per person and I call that very expensive.
