Count me in for the Blue Marlin too. I can dig a hole or make drinks or play Wii. Oh or I could do something productive.

Thanks for the invite (we all were invited to the Blue Marlin, right) - I'll plan to be there too. I don't like cleaning, cooking, or any kind of work - but I'm pretty good drinking wine. We could use a dog park too for all the furry ones.

Al-rightly...so far there are volunteers for a cook and a bartender (the two most important things!) a fisherman, an electrician, a plumber, an excavator and three people who have volunteered for the dirty job of sitting around and being centerpieces to pretty up the place.

I'll have to bring Dennis and he won't be happy unless he has some type of farm equipment under his ass  ...so let's put him in charge of maintenance and lawn care. I'll bring my sewing machine to mend and sew velcro and name tags in all of our clothes and I'll help with laundry....I refuse to do all the laundry! ;)
My mind works like lightning...one brilliant flash and it's gone.

I was thinking about the Care Center in Livingston but the Blue Marlin is much prettier. I like to ride the lawn mower too. I could be Dennis' assistant but I don't care much for a weed eater. I could make us all bibs since I didn't buy any at Walmart when I had the chance. Wine usually gives me a headache but I could work on getting over that.

Count me in on the Blue Marlin retirement !! Its a beautiful laid back place and so far the people there are a good crowd. I can join the lay abouts, although I do dust things sometimes and after the mowers are run, that might need doing . :? No real housekeeping chores though, I suck at them :P

Thanks for the idea and invite , Vicky, we're all sure to have a great time in our ole age !!!

Count me in. A year ago I went back to school again and became a certified foot reflexologist, so I'll do everybody's feet. Did my 86 year old friend's feet yesterday afternoon and she got so relaxed . All the tension left her body and she could sleep. Wonderful stuff and a gift I can give.

I may make FL this winter. Not sure, but I'll bring my special chair. Give a session as a door prize!!!! I'm also open to barter. Maybe a walk with Hershel.

Me too, me too at the Blue M. Peggy I do hypnosis combined with reiki and we can get everyone relaxed and tell them to do our chores

So where do we sign up to make our reservations, will Mitch or Vickie be making a map so we know what 'site' we get?

Jeesh, I'm gone for a day or so, and all of a sudden, The Blue Marlin Resort has been turned into an RV Retirement Park for Wayward and Goofy Women!

This place might be worth suffering through mosquitos for!

Think it'll be done in 3 years when I'm ready to retire?

MOSQUITOS???? There ain't no freakin' skeeters at The Blue Marlin. Seriously. Never had a bite in over 7 years. And I'm a skeeter magnet.
