About that winterizing thing.....I guess it depends on your rig and what your demands are for water but I have often headed off to a dog show or camping adventure in colder temps. I drain the water heater and by-pass it, drain the water tank and put pink stuff in all the lines. I use Pink stuff in the black tank and the grey water tank which keeps them from freezing and carry fresh water in jugs and drinking water with me. I can heat water in the microwave to use for washings dishes and taking sink baths.....and some park shower houses are actually heated..... That keeps me traveling in "iffy" weather safely. It is especially useful in January as I try to get out of Ohio's winters and head south to warmer temps!
My unit is not a four season unit and my heaters don't help keep me comfortable past the low 20's, especially with a wind chill. We won't even talk about how much fun "dog walks" are in those temp ranges but sometimes it is worth it!
