I've gotta get out west. Those mountains are calling me.

What a beautiful, wonderful day you took. And I have to say, I was especially happy to see Jed out enjoying himself. I'm so glad both of you were able to get out into that splendour with your friend.

What a fantastic trip, Laura, and it looks as if all three of you had a fun time! I had forgotten just how beautiful those high mountains are. Our Adirondack mountains are much smaller, in comparison, although I find them very 'friendly' to climb and explore, without the grizzly bears and no poisonous critters, for the most part. I feel safe camping anywhere in a tent up here, whereas I would definitely want solid walls around me in the western mountains. Breathtaking views and photos you have! Thanks for sharing them-----it makes me wish to go back there at least once more. I find it amazing to see just how many RVers are on those roads these days. What a change from the 60s when I was last there.

Have a fun year at school!

Happy travels!
