Thanks to all of you, but Lordie, that girl is gonna kill me before this is over. She wants to buy a timer, which reminds you when to change the baby, when was the last feeding etc. I told her they had a way of letting her know that on their own, it was called an ear splitting scream Jeeze, here I thought I had a level headed daughter What will people think of to spend money on now????

I was just going to add my congratulations to the list when I got to the end and saw your comments about your daughter buying a timer! Good thing I wasn't drinking coffee! I'm still chuckling. Boy, is she in for a surprise! Somehow I don't think the baby's inner timer will match up!

Congrtulations, Grandmother, Grandma, Grammy, Granny, Gran...enjoy the time between now and Spring...all the anticipation, and then the baby...um...uhh...and the change-me, feed-me timer! LOL

Had a good laugh at the timer!! Little do they know!! They won't even need an alarm clock in the morning for the next decade.

I had two sons, and a lot of experience with younger cousins. My boys each had one son, but when the second one had a baby girl, he was concerned I didn't know how to change a girl's diaper!! I was told, "But Mom, it's a girl!" I chuckle at all the detailed instructions I get when I watch the kids when they go out to dinner.

The first time I ever watched their two older kids (they had three in 37 months) for an overnight, they left at 10:00 am, and called me at noon, 2:00 pm, just before dinner, right after dinner, and right after they had gone to a movie, to make sure everything was OK. I know now to keep my cell phone in my pocket at all times, although they have gotten better about not calling so often.

You are in for lots of fun and even more opportunities to enjoy watching your child be a parent and deal with all those things you dealt with. (Lots of fun watching my son potty train his stubborn daughter.)
