Oh Liz! Thank you for confirming on the coach batteries for the fridge! Lesson learned! ;) ;) Thanks again!

Your coach batteries have to be on to run your furnace also. And for your gas detector. Only time they should be off is when the coach is in storage :)

Glad you had such a good maiden voyage. Now, to the next and the next and the next :)

Good for you, Li! Sounds like you've learned lots of valuable lessons that will stick with you forever.

One word of advice with your kitties ... I've read way too many horror stories about kitties being in the wrong place when the slides were put in & they ended up getting killed. I don't travel with my cats, nor do I have slides, but if I did they'd be in their kennels before anyone tried to do anything with the slides.

I know ... not the kind of "atta girl" that everyone else has given you, but from one cat lover to another ... I'm just sayin'.

When's the next trip? ;)

Laura

I totally agree with you. I watched the hump-in-the-bed the whole time I was pulling in the slides. And when I have them all, it will be easy to separate them betwen the "rooms" as the toilet room door has a spring on it. I can shoo them into the bedroom while pulling in the living room slides, and vice versa when I'm pulling in the bedroom slide. I have thought this through...but thanks for the info! :D

Congrats, now you're a pro. I like you ribbon idea - I use a hair clip on the steering wheel. If I turn on my rig lights while driving during the day, I put the clip on the wheel so when I stop I don't forget to turn them off. I also have a BIG hair clip I put on my shirt when I turn off the frig while getting gas so I remember to turn it back on.

The nice thing about this forum is that you're never really alone.

Nice job.

Hi Li,

It was great fun to read your blog, and to know that everything worked out fine for you and Bibi in the FooFoo. Loved the little snowman too!!! You are on your way! Enjoy the adventure.
