ARRRRRGggggghhh where did this pain come from?????? no wonder they gave me high powered pain pills. I woke up about 4 AM, got up and whooooaaa did not excpec that. More I move less it hurts, but been up now about 3 hours time to go get back down for a bit.

Xray already set up for the lung in April. Surgeon said he thinks it might have already righted itself...hope so.

Will keep ya'll updated, time is slipping by. :D

Use the pain meds, Nan. That's what they're for. If you don't, the pain may keep you from moving & exercising as you have been instructed.

Tick tock... :D

Good news Nan. So glad that the surgery is over and that you are on the mend. After getting that lung checked and training your replacement?? You'll be OFF and running and no one will be able to keep up with you!!

WOOHOO, you go girl!

Ditto to what the rest of the girls said! Take care, use the pain pills as instructed and you'll be out running races before you know it!

Hi Nan,

Glad the surgery went well. I think of you and have to laugh when I look at the photos from our Silver River GTG and see how bundled up and charming we all looked. April will soon be here and with that comes freedom to live every day as you please. Do hope you will venture north and pay me a visit.

I bet tomorrow the pain will be much less and again the next day even better. Hang in there!

I just got home from grocery shopping and noticed my neighbor, RaeLynne, getting out of her vehicle. She shouldn't be at home as she's a special ed teacher at the elementary school. Then I notice she's limping. I find out she missed the last two steps on some stairs at school (had her arms full so didn't realize she had more steps to go), and landed hard as her right leg/foot caught her weight, and her hip dislocated! She said it popped right back in, but it's still painful. She had seen the Dr and gotten xrays with more tests tomorrow to determine if any ligaments are torn etc.

Repeat of what all the others have said. Glad the surgery is behind you and hope the pain will be gone in no time, too. Lots of down time to plan trips!

Today is the day I got to remove the bandages. So my son came in took off the old stuff and put on two bandaids now. Think removing that gauze which was pulling on the stitches, will actually reduce the pain. Hoping this will get settled down.

Thank you all for your careing and prayers. Alway helps when you know there are friends there caring.
