We were sitting in the restaurant and I looked out the window and saw a dog standing on a cement sign with balloons tied to it. I was worried cause its on a busy highway. Kept watching the dog and it never moved. Finally asked the waiter what it was. Was a stautue of a cow that has always been there. The balloons made me actually notice it this time. Thank God it wasn't a dog in need of rescue - THERE IS NO ROOM ON MY BED NOW.

Well now Karen, if you would just GET OUT OF THE BED, there would be plenty of room for another dog.  When will we humans learn? Linda

I'm sorry I missed you and Ron this weekend Ali. The Texas Ramblin Roses were rallying in San Marcos, and I had a severe case of hitch itch! Just wanted to add to the chorus of Welcome to Texas!

Love,
Sharon

Oh Karen, thank you for my evening laugh, it's been a long day and I surely needed it! I could just picture you rounding up the patrons at the restaurant to come outside with you and help you catch that dog, everybody traipsing out there and realizing what it really was!

It sounds as if you and Karen had a fun time, Ali! What a great picture of you two, also! Some day I hope to get my official flamingo wine glass. I hope your work-kamping experience will be just what you need this year, after dabbling in several other shall-we-say 'different' work experiences this past year! I can't wait to learn how your latest job pans out, and I am happy to know you made it safely to your new post.
