Wow, Lenora! Your family is really getting hit hard this year with the loss of loved ones! So sorry to hear that. Sounds like you are being the strong one for everyone right now. You need to be sure to take care of yourself and take a break from things occasionally to rest and regroup! Especially with your surgeries coming up. You don't want your immune system compromised from all the stress! Feel bad for your granddaughters! They are sure getting a lesson in loss at a very young age and all at once! Have you all in my thoughts and prayers!

Just got an update. Bob passed away within 30 mins of being taken off the machines. May he rest in peace. Keep up the prayers for my SIL's family and my DD and GDs.

So hoping this is the end of the losses now for your family! Like I said before, stay strong but also allow yourself to grieve and get some much needed rest. You have a stressful month ahead also with your surgeries! Will continue prayers for you and your family!

(I just read yesterday about a couple who was killed in a car accident on their way to help plan the funerals of their 3 granddaughters who were killed last week in a house fire. Just can't even imagine the pain and heartache for that family as well!)

Today I have come down with a cold. Not too serious, but a light sore throat, stuffy sinuses and a stiff neck.
I did cancel my dentist appt. as I just couldn't see myself sitting there getting a cleaning without coughing or sniffing up a storm. I'll go next month.

I am now awaiting a phone call from a dear friend, and former finance guy, in Alaska. My X still had his investments thru him so I need to get that changed over.
I'm starting to hyperventilate every time I hear the words "forms to fill out".

Barbie, Bob had emphysema and was on oxygen for the past year so it wasn't a total surprise. Just came at a time when we were just starting to get a grip on losing my X so suddenly. My DD had a house full during that time and didn't get a chance to process her feelings of losing her father, then Christmas, going back to work, New Years, her daughter having walking pneumonia, and now her father-in=law's passing, all within 24 days. I just got off the phone with her and she is just hanging on by a thread. Please keep her in your hearts. Her oldest DD, 10, doesn't want to miss school nor attend another funeral. She's overloaded emotionally and just wants a normal routine again, but her Dad tells her she's being selfish. Just so hard on everyone.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. As for your GD, I pray for her because she has experience more loss in such a short amount of time that most adults can't handle.

I also pray that your surgeries are successful and that your recovery is quick.
