Wow, you get a shorter day out of it - now it looks like this might be really working out in your favor. As to that 1% - someday maybe she'll learn to quit opening mouth and inserting foot - or that what goes around, comes around - looks like it's happening quickly in this case, and didn't do you any damage, which is most important.

Ava.....have been keeping track here and am so glad that things worked out for you.....new bus, new route, new beginnings.....(yes, I get called "Pollyanna" alot...lol) The 1% person will reap what she sows someday......I'm all for shorter work days and you got it.....Yeah!!!

I honestly can't help but wonder what would have happened if it had been any other driver than you? What if it had been the 1% witness?

It's rough and I wish it had never had happened to ya Ava. But I am a very firm believer that things happen for a reason. And for whatever reason?? You were meant to be in that new bus and at the new school. There's something there that needs you to be there and able to take care of it. It will be interesting to see what it is.

Go for it Ava. It might be a challenge that you will thoroughly enjoy. And you are the woman for the job.
