Ali...I will post the other sites I have found for work camping on the work camping thread. That way it will be easier to refer to for anyone who needs it. Not sure where you want to be for the summer, but I may be in need of help on Saturday & Sundays (all day) and Monday mornings at the Army Corps of Engineers park in IA that I worked at last summer...if my bosses get the bid on the contract again. There is also Adventureland in Altoona, IA. I had a job lined up there last spring, but got the other offer. Adventureland still wants me and sent me another packet for next summer, so at least I have a backup plan. They have a nice campground for their workampers, but I loved living out by the woods with no other RVs next to me If you are interested in helping me, you would have a nice full hookup site overlooking the river, near a fishing pier.
Sounds like you have nice plans for after the Christmas tree job You will drive away from there with a lot of knowledge of how you would run a tree lot. I have a friend who had one in CA, when I lived there. He went up to OR, I believe, and bought a truckload of trees and had his own lot. You could do that! Then, you would not only get all the profit, but you could run it the way it should be run...and not wait until Jan for your money I don't like the sound of that They know you will be on the road by then. Hmmm!
