Then there's this COE cg on Sardis Lake near Clayton, OK where I stayed this summer. Nice spots on the water.

Liz, did you stay at Potato Hills or Sardis Cove? None of their websites say anything about full hookups, only a dump station.

Oklahoma was just an idea....any other suggestions?

There are 3 COE cgs on Sardis Lake. The one I stayed at was Potato Hills Central. It had water & elec. + a dump station. I remember because there was a group of locals "borrowing" my site when I got there. They seemed surprised to see me, so this cg may not get much use by travelers. The other COE cg in Oklahoma near Woodward close to the panhandle was even nicer (You may remember the flowers & park surrounding the dump station), but farther way for easterners to get to. Haven't looked, but bet there are others too.

We went to the Cherokee Heritage Museum today and it was really interesting. Do you know that Benjamin Franklin gave credit to the Iraquois for the constitution? The Iraquois had a constition in place when the white man came to this country. I posted some pictures on my blog www.west99.blogspot.com

We head out tomorrow AM and not sure where we'll spend the night.
