That's funny Sparkle, when my Dad worked at the Firestone plant one of his coworker/friend's wife would make him a french fry sandwich for his lunch when she was mad at him. My Mom used to tell Daddy he better be nice or he was gonna open his lunchbox and find a french fry sandwich. I actually like them, but with mayo, not butter.

Yeah, I had really thought you'd lost your edge!! Must be, oh can't say...okay, must be your jet lag. Wait, you're driving. No jet lag. Must be you just didn't really want to tell us all if you've ever had Spotted Dick. Well, we now know that you have and that you love it...a lot...with some sort of bird crap.

Reminds me of something they sold at a zoo I visited in Calgary, BC. French fries with gravey on them!

"la poutaine" ..... my housemate Kath is from French Canadian heritage, it's a family favorite with her. Snack bars and diners here in the north country have it on the menu.
