WOW what a gorgeous view to wake up to each morning and enjoy the sunsets. LOL Bogie is a hoot....looks like he's praying for Mom to stay awhile...ahhhhhhh I like it lol :) Neat to be able to meet up with familiar faces also. That caravan looks like a nightmare.

A month today we arrived in Mexico. December 18th we were parked at the airport parking lot in San Felipe! We are still in Bahia de Concepcion. We're going to pay for another 6 days. We do it 6 days at a time because it comes out to 480 pesos and we can give them a 500 peso note. So that's $36.00 for the 6 days. There were supposed to be hot showers, but they had a hurricane here sometime so the showers are defunct. There are toilets, but to flush you go outside to a barrel of water and a scoop. No thanks, I'll use my own bathroom. There is a dump, and we heard that they come round with a water tanker, but we haven't seen that yet. We buy bread, pastires, fish and veggies and fruit from the venders. Some of them are getting to know us.
On Wednesday we are going to drive North in the truck to Santa Rosalia. We were NOT impressed with that town, why Tioga George spent so many winters there beats us. However, there is a chapel prefabricated by Eiffel of the Eiffel Tower fame and also a famous French Bakery. We plan to stock up! It is only about 50 miles, 100 round trip, and Beth is splitting the cost of gas while I am unhitched. We will take pictures of course.
We did laundry today. We were sitting reading and it is so funny to look up and realise you are in a foreign country. Now we are in a really pretty restaurant with free Internet. Life is good! :D
