Our family was so bad about loosing keys that the first thing I do is go get a couple of sets of keys made for a new vehicle. We sold a truck one time and I gave the man 6 sets of keys to it. It's not so bad now that the boys have moved out. I carry a set of keys for every vehicle in my purse. Just have to remember to always take my purse out with me. My DH is always getting out and leaving the keys in a truck. So far he's been lucky. I'm waiting for the call that he's locked out. I don't trust these new vehicles, sometimes they lock on their own.

The last time my motorhome was in the shop they fixed my dead bolt. The service manager told me to always lock the dead bolt because there were just a few different locks that they use on the doors and there were plenty of master keys floating around. I know the compartment key for my motorhome fits the compartment for a friends trailer.

Mitch, you should read "the Great Man's" blog, he is very entertaining.
