I can really sympathize - I bought a new house in Memphis once and the very first week they had to jack-hammer a hole in the living room floor to reconnect the drain pipes. I had a 4 foot mound of dirt and concrete in the house for about 4 days. Oh, and I had company from Florida at the time. Sure wish I had had an RV to retreat to then.
I am so glad you have yours as an escape pod!! Just put your feet up and relax!!!

Life is a maze full of choices! Choose your path wisely!
With your mountain of dirt, I bet "super dooper pooper scooper" took on a whole new meaning. When a friend and I were setting my electrical pole for my mobile home, George had borrowed an auger from where he worked to dig the hole. It was suppossed to be set near the corner, but George, in his male wisdom, decided to come in 6 foot from the corner. He started digging with the auger and a couple feet down, white stuff started flyng. Of course, knowng how men are, he kept digging until it dawned on him, he had hit my sewer line which ran back under the mobile home to the lines in the front yard. They put the septic in the back so I Could be RV friendly and pull up and dump in the cleanout valve. I had to dig it up while George went to town to get pipe to fix it. I had a big mound of dirt just from that and it was nothing !! Fortunately, water wasn't on yet and there was nothing in the septic.
Handle every stressful situation like a dog.. If you can't eat it or play with it, Just pee on it and walk away...
Some how I keep thinking .....what if .....LOL You all know me well.... anyway...the plumber will be back Wed with crew.... and I'm sure hoping all will go well...but until then...it's Motor Home tonight again.. which is not a bad thing....LOL In fact you know my DH enjoys it... We play cards...watch a little TV and he gets up and checks things out..like oh.. I didn't know we had that in here ?????? Where has the man been...obviously not in the Rig...but I have to tell you ....He can't sit still..up down open door .. close door..open frig..close frig check closets..YIKES... you all getting the picture.... LOL The Critters...well they settle in..jump right in their crates and love it can't wait for the next rest area LOL
Now you all know how showers go..well we have a 10gal hot water heater..so in saying that..because the DH is not use to that...it was a quick shower for him..LOL He is a good man..Mr Minute Man...but oh my ...I know he can't conserve water LOL it was rushing out the gate LOL>...Thank Gawd we live on a hill hahahahaha....
Come tomorrow the crew will be here and so will I....DH will be at work till noon time and he'll come home to check and see what is happening.... I may decide to drive off in the sunset LOL I sure wish they hadn't changed the rules in the park... I use to take the rig with puppies ..and go off for the whole day.. and even fix my dinner so when I drove home or I called the DH he'd meet me in the park and we'd stay till dark....but you know how some people can ruin a good thing...
Ok, I'm off to go outside and see what other damage I can get into.. and Yes.. I am now going for my Shower finally...geeez you get reading here and ya can't get away....
