I would LOVE to see Dan compete in a RV rodeo someday, I'd bet he'd win!! He is used to driving Articulate buses backwards getting bus drivers out of a wrong turn situations. He drove big huge tour buses, the Alfa Seeya is a piece of cake for him!!

If I have to drive by myself I know I could do it but not with the Seeya...it's just too big for "Me". It's weird how I was more comfortable with the Trop-Cal and that was only 3 feet shorter!!! Go figure :?:

Ann your DH sounds alot like mine! Maybe we shouldn't get these two together or we'll be on a wild ride!!!

Lucky guy he had Dan there to help. I've had to drop my pride and ask for help sometimes. It's better than dents.

Walkie-talkies are a good idea, but if I got some, I'd STILL be talking to myself. :P

When I had to move either RV I have a habit of setting up orange cones, even DH sets them up that way so he'd put the motorhome back where it was after he dumped the tanks. I have not put any dents in the RV but Dan chipped the airdam on the front of the RV by
1) stopping in Mexico and parked in soft gravel and when we pulled out we tipped just enough to scrape the lower corner
2) I wanted DH to switch sites and he was not feeling good that day ( caught GK's colds) so he did not argue with me to stay put and we did not see the tree root sticking up out of the ground and cracked the other side of the airdam...Groan :o :(

Saw a Alfa Seeya today where they cut that sucker off and the motorhome is much higher off the ground because it's off. Why they put the airdams on the front is beyond me??? We are forever creeping to make sure we don't scrape it! Got it fixed last year, so now it looks normal again. Ann knows what I'm talking about and for the rest if you look at the bottom of our RV in our photo of it you'll see it.

Hey Jill,
Not sure you need a lesson - as you just posted fine to SeeYa's thread.

Would be nice if you would go into the Introduce Yourself room - click on NEWTOPIC - and start your own thread to tell a little about yourself. Not everyone here is going to know you - and we all appreciate it :)

So glad to have you with us!
