Are you a member of Thousand Trails? I hear it is very pricey but have many friends who are members.

Hi Velda. No I am not a member of thousand trails. Where I bought the rv, they gave me a 30 day free complimentary camping pass. I did have to sign up and get a card to use it. I will see how it goes, but don't think I will extend beyond that.

We spent a weekend as guests of friends at a thousand trails north of Sacramento CA. It was ok, not spectacular but clean and quiet in the middle of farm fields. We just haven't been in a position to make good use of their parks to make it worth the money. Personally if I were able to go a lot, I would prefer state parks and federal land.
