DO notify the police department. Timers for different lights in the house. If you go with the house/pet sitter, be sure they're bonded and not just some person advertising in the local paper. \

As for boon docking, Karen's RV park is free and has free water and electric and a placed you can dump altho you do have to move your rig to dumb, and you're welcome to stay as long as you want. 25 acres to walk the dogs.

Nikki, I posted two free campgrounds in the cg section. Magnolia Beach Park and Oyster Lake Park. Both are near Port Lavaca. I have stayed at Magnolia Beach 3 times. I have not stayed at Oyster Lake Park.

Putting pink stuff in the toilet trap after you drain the water out or as much as you can get out, works good. That's what we did at the state park when buildings were closed up for the season.
