Heartbreaking news about a brave and very courageous woman. I was so excited reading about your solo trip to Alaska, and I am so proud of you for having done it. Whatever the future may bring for you, know that we will all be thinking of you and your family as you take probably the most interesting journey of your life.

Huge hugs, and I wish I could have seen you this year in FL. Write when you can or wish as you will be in our minds all the time.

I was one of the fortunate ones meet up with Sharon at the first Quartzsite GTG, too. I'm so glad she had the opportunity to travel and meet so many new friends. I hope she has some nice, quality time with her family and can share the memories of all the places she has visited and all the friends she has made.

Sharon, I have always admired you, the choice you made to leave everything and seek adventures and see the sights in travels while also earning a living, your courage for the solo trip to Alaska, how you handled your breakdown and tow. Then your fight and good spirits you fought the first battle with "C". Now, this final trip that I believe you plan to enjoy each minute you have. You, my friend, will be at the top of my list of most Admired People I have ever known. I shall always regret I never had the chance to meet you in person and shall envy those who did. Your smiles always make those seeing it smile back, whether in person or just seeing your picture.

Prayers for a good trip home and the energy to enjoy some adventures on the way.

Karen, you are one TRUE friend, Thank you !

So many of you know have met and known Sharon over the years and it is very obvious that you care about her. Unfortunately, she has not been on the forum herself for almost 3 years so she will not see your loving comments. I will be seeing her after Easter. If you would like to send her a card, PM me and I will give you my address so you can mail it to her in care of me and I will deliver them for you. The card will need to arrive by the Saturday before Easter as I am heading out on Easter Monday. Hope this helps.

Such very sad news. From all the comments I can tell Sharon is well liked and I regret I never had the chance to meet her. It's a difficult but wise decision to choose quality of life, and I wish her peace.

Thank you all so much for your very kind comments and your support in my decision. I have so enjoyed the RV lifestyle because I got to meet the most amazing women like you. From Bethers as my mentor almost 7 years ago to my friends all across the country. My only regret is I didn't get to meet more of you.

I am so glad I didn't wait until I retired to see this great nation. So if at all possible, make out happen and do it while you can.

Thanks again,
Sharon (Sprinter)
