Really nice looking van Liz. In regards to the air springs, I think I remember reading in the B section at RV.net that some have handling problems on the road at higher speeds and the air springs plus the certain tires/pressure helps. Might want to drive what ever you look at out on the interstate and see how it handles in traffic.

I notice there are currently several more class B's for sale on e-Bay than usual.

Liz -

I have air springs on my 31 ft Class C and they are wonderful for 'smoothing' out the ride and levelling out the coach for driving. I think they are a big plus. You can really feel the difference when they aren't properly aired.

Good luck on your new purchase! looks like a good deal!

If it were me I would do it. It also has everything I'm looking for. But you do tend to put on more miles than I might,... I would think you could get another 60,000 miles easily,... perhaps more with your usual good maintenance that you do. I really like the interior, awning and twin beds. For me, it would be much better than the one bed across the back. I think if that deal were here, I'd trade the Chalet..... in a heartbeat!

Liz, sounds like the owner took good care of it. If you have all the service records I wouldn't be afraid of the mileage. If your's is paid for you could sell it at a higher price than you could get for a trade. Nice rig.

Liz!! How I'd love to be in your position right now. Like Karen said. The "one" owner seems to have taken good care of the rig. I have yet to see any maintenance records on any of the used rigs I've looked at. When I asked one dealer about records he looked at me like I was goofy. If you continure to take good care of it, it should last a long long time for you. Pray over it and you'll make the right decision.
Hugs!

Wow, Liz! It's a beauty! I've been away for a few days visiting SIL, and look what happens! I did not know you were considering a change. Going from the 170 to the Excel is going from one extreme to the other! I got the Roadtrek 210 (comparable to the Excel) cause I really wanted the extra room. My layout is very similar and I've been very happy with it. I think you'll like it a lot. What are you going to do with the 170?

Hi Leslie, welcome back. I'll be selling the Roadtrek. I looked at a 2006 RT 210 and loved it, but they were asking 50K+. Didn't compare to this PW at 19.5K, and it had almost as many miles on it.

Liz, I know you are just so excited. It's always good to get something fresh & new to you and start from scratch figuring out where everything goes. WTG, girl.

Liz looks like a great find. Know you will enjoy the room in this one with the additions you described. Looking forward to seeing it at the Fl gathering.
