If they decide to put in cement pads tell them to make them level. I have stayed in parks with nice cement pads that aren't level. Beats me why someone would go to the trouble to build a cement pad and not make it level.

I think it is really important to limit use to 14 days and not allow moving to another pad for more time. Otherwise, you will get "residents" and other people will not be able to use the sites. For that reason, I also would not put in full hookups. I would be perfectly happy with electric at each site and a dump station and water fill station. If someone's grey water tanks get full, they can pull out, dump, and return.

Does this park already have restrooms? They can be dangerous in a very public place if there is no one to make sure homeless or vagrants are not sleeping in them. I don't use campground restrooms, but in a small park like this with access available to the general public, I would not want to let a child or even myself go in one unaccompanied.

I also like the idea of wider pads so you don't have to walk in dirt or mud to walk around slides.

If I'm thinking of the same one Nan mentioned, then there were toilets and (I believe) showers. Homeless people living in their cars were there, parked by the RVs. Lots of noise, with run-down cars circling, blaring their radios well into the night.

The restrooms/showers in in Fort Wayne had a touch key pad and they gave you a number when you checked in. That way only the guest could use the restrooms/showers.

If the idea is to have visitor's stop in town and spend some money while passing through, you will probably want to limit time to about three days. Otherwise you will have a lot of people using them for local vacations. Electric and water with a dump station is more than adequate. Putting in sewer is expensive and only needed for long term stays. Great idea for your town.
