That's fascinating Sharon! Never heard of the arrows and would love to see one or more sometime.

I'd love to go exploring with you, Sharon, but won't be until May probably.

This is very interesting and there are listings near Salome, AZ. I've sent it on to LeRoy - I'd rather he wait until I get there, but he can use something new to look for :)

I checked a little further and there was one in Livermore, CA less than a mile from where Beth, Annie and I will have a dinner GTG tonight. Unfortunately the additional information indicates as of 1968 the beacon was removed and apparently no sign left of it. I looked at a map and the area is all built up now. No sign of an airfield left. Darn!
