I run my generator twice a day. The rest of the time, I like to run off my two 12 volt batteries....way quieter and cheaper!

When I run the generator, it charges the batteries for the entire day or the entire night. My 12 V TV will be perfect for quiet viewing when I get an inverter for the digital converter box. Better yet, Mardi gave me the name of a converter box that runs on either AC or 12V.....I will probably get one of those. Maybe I'll get me one of those for a Christmas present to myself....AFTER I send for another govt, coupon to purchase it! IF the coupon will cover that kind....it did for Mardi! Will have to check.

Running a generator all night is not my idea of a good thing! I need the sound of TV all night to counterbalance that totally annoying tinnitus that I suffer from. Spring peepers work, too! But they are too seasonal to count on!
