..
And just think - I'll be able to run and not knock myself in the chin...

And at the end of a long day, I won't have to heft them up on the table to give my ribs a break.

Clothes will fit.

Men will talk to my face.

I'll have tons more room in my bra drawer.

I'll be able to see my feet.

I'm sure there will be more advantages that come to light in the future.

Thank you, friends, for your good wishes and prayers.

And just think -- it'll be LOTS easier to lie about your age!

I'm glad you've found yourself again so quickly, Mitch. You've got everything you need inside of you to fight this -- we're just standing in the bleachers rooting you on.

You go,girl!

Don't forget not having to worry about catching your nipple in the oven door anymore. Now to find a use for your old bras.....hanging flowerpots, punch holes in them and use them for colanders? I'm sure there's more.

So sorry to hear this Mitch, but I know you'll come through fine. My great aunt had a double mastectomy at 70 and lived to over 90. So many have made it through with no recurrence and so will you. Keep positive because that's important and know we're all here to support you. Big HUGS!!!

I think your old bras will make wonderful bird nests. I can see baby birds peeking out of the tops. And the birdy moms won't have to worry about the chicks falling out. Lots of room.

Big HUG coming your way Mitch. Just roll up your sleeves and treat like another chore to be done. You have the biggest cheering squad yelling and carrying on for you. Love from Peggy sitting on a cement pillar by Lake Michigan, but I have 5 bars!!!!!

Mitch I do think you should wear the goggles and ear muffs into surgery. You know must protect those eyes.

Ear muffs=old bras! More room for stuffing, better protection. But if she wears them in her new little red truck, she'd have to keep the windows down in order to fit.

My first reaction was "oh crap". But I know you are strong and you will fight this and you have a sense of humor to go along with it. Just hang in there Mitch, we are all with you. And another bright side thing, no more have to do the annual "squish" thing anymore. Prayers and hugs to you.
