Need Some RV advice

How about one of these little light weight Casitas? I would think you and the girls would be pretty cramped in a pop up of any type.

Quite the opposite. Remember, with any hard-sided trailer your sleeping space is enclosed with everything else. With pop-ups and hybrids the sleeping space is essentially outside of the rest of the living space. So my little 10' box pop-up ended up being almost 18' long with the 2 bunk ends. And my 19' hybrid was over 26' with both ends open. The nice thing about a hybrid is that you don't have to open both bunk ends if you don't need them.

In both of my rigs Jed got one bunk & I got the other. Worked out most of the time.

Our 17' hybrid was 24' with both bunk ends out... Oh, those were the days.... Sometimes I miss Shamus the Shamrock....

I was fixing to say HI LO and then i just read Pooker's post about them. I know they are great but not sure how pricey. Im almost sure that you could find one used somewhere. Just keep looking. AND, yes,, there's another brand of them too. THEY are hard sided but collapse onto themselves,, so that meets your criteria.

Something like a Trailmanor might be more in line with your car. They're pricey, but for those who don't want to deal with canvas, want a more "normal" bathroom, and don't have a bigger tow vehicle, they can be just the ticket.

I'd look at the Scamp's. I've liked the ones I've seen and know someone with one of their little 5th wheels who love it.

The tt's are UNDER 2000#'s, thus your vehicle could handle them easily.

I love the Scamp 5th wheels, too, such an economy of space....but I guess I would have to drive a little truck to make that work...
