Also consider renting or borrowing one even just for one or two nights. Just choose a site not too far from home to see if you even like it. Maybe you have a friend, neighbor, church acquaintance, etc. who could drive it off the lot while you watch; find a road not well traveled to have you both try your hand at driving; perhaps even help you get set up. It all seems overwelming at first, but none of us was born knowing how to RV! We all had that learning curve. In fact, most of us are still learning. Just take it slow.

I'd also say visit more dealers. If you see enough frogs, you will learn to spot the prince! And most RV sales people will know just where to take you for those test drives when you tell them you never tried it before.
