They also have a pancake breakfast as a fundraiser at the care center on Saturdays. $4 for pancakes, sausage and coffee.

I've known two people who haven't been pleased when they volunteered at the Escapees care centers ... made me like the care centers a little less. Would like to hear a good volunteer experience from someone (so far haven't).
