Remi, maybe you can tell your Mom that when you get to Valdez, the animal shelter here lets their dog bathing area be used (for a fee) - I bet Herschel would fit in there just fine. My mom has told me we are going to be checking it out - sooner rather than later if I keep getting myself into messes. She says with friends in town, tomorrow we're going out to Valdez Glacier, and she's hoping I won't get dirty before we get back in the car - as she'll be driving and doesn't want me getting them all dirty. But, without telling her, I'm thinking that I will do my thing and yes, it means I might get that bath sooner than I want.

Nice pictures! And I like that tub. You could actually bathe children in it, or dogs, of course. And I could envision shaving my legs, also, sitting down.

Great pics. When you are in Waterton, check out high tea at the Prince Edwards Hotel on the lake. Not sure if the boat and or hike to or from Goat Haunt would be open yet. But well worth it. carold

Checked out the dress code for you Tina....

Dress Code:
Dress code is casually elegant. Please no torn and / or ripped jeans, short shorts, cut off pants, beach wear, flip flops or baseball caps.

For the comfort of all guests, it is requested that cell phones be turned off during Afternoon Tea.

Personally my suggestion is a beer at the campground! hick...

If there was a dress code, no one there seemed to know about it  the view from there is great no matter what you decide to drink. Should have known Mitch would have a plan  carold

Excellent Pics, Tina! I am so loving the trip with you Wild Women!

I am wondering where on earth you put the stuff you were storing in the tub area? Even here at home, I have my tub filled, and I guess I could take all the stuff into the house, (my daughter would kill me to see "stuff" coming into the house rather than going out!) but I need it all at one time or another----dog food, purse, guitars, fiddle, dog meds, extra bug spray and sunscreen, etc.

Thanks for sharing things with us all!

Soos, I packed for this trip with the knowledge that I would be using the shower eventually...what with all the boon docking. With all the space the renovations in the overhead cab area gave me, I don't have to stuff as many things in the shower. I keep my laundry basket the dog food and the drinking water....All moveable objects. I did have to remember to put the dog food up in the overhead cab area though or someone (Herschel) would have been snacking while Remi got bathed.
