Where's Liz? North to Alaska, Part 1

Postby Liz » Sun May 06, 2012 10:31 am

The Alaska trip has begun. Travelers are on the move. Part 1 brings me to Tennessee to meet up with Mitch. Carol is enroute to Colorado, as is Birdie, and Nan and Tina are in final preparations. Woohoo!

Looking forward to travelin' along with ya!
Love the baby Killdeer! They are pretty allusive and in all my years growing up in the Midwest I had never seen one.

Thanks for the update and pictures Liz. Loved the baby Kildeer, I have seem them here, one used to go into it's wounded act as my friend an I walked past a rock lined ditch. We looked and right near the top was her nest with three little eggs. She was back again the next year but we never saw any of the babies.
I'm really excited about the trip and I'm not even going!

Woo Hoo and they're off!! Jealous that you got to go to the Blue Marlin Resort! Everytime I plan to go, Mitch leaves. What's with that?? Someday I'll get to go...Travel safe!

This is going to be so exciting, can't wait to travel along with all of you!

Actually we are going to Alaska in Aug., via a cruise out of Seattle. Our trip won't be nearly as much fun as you will be having

Looking forward to many more pictures and stories.
I'm not lost, I'm on an adventure!

Liz, if you really want to have some fun while at The Blue Marlin, just hide Mitch's many lists!

Ohhhh, that's really wicked, even for you, Vickie! I love it! Unfortunately, Liz is to nice to do something like that.
