..

I'm trying like heck to go, if all these dang problems would stop!

I THINK I will leave the St. Louis area, heading west, on Sunday, May 13 (Mother's Day). I just DO NOT want to go through St. Louis traffic on a work day!!

There are 6 of us going, Marslet, leaving our homes sometime in early May, we'll meet up in Mt. at end of May. I'm going by way of my son's , others have plans to visit or sight see , I hope to meet up with them somewhere in northern Co. or Mt. which ever works. Plans are still jello.

The rest may have more to offer to answer your question, your new grandbaby is adorable,
CArol :)

I'm going also - but not in the group - will be going up a tad earlier - working in Valdez this summer.

I'm on the Alaska list.... :) Still waiting in fear for something/someone to wake me up and tell me it is all a dream. Going to Alaska just sounds like something that happens to others but slowly as the time approaches and I am getting more things checked off my to do list I realize that I am one of "those" people

I'm sad. Oh, so sad. People and their short jokes.
Do I make giant jokes?
NOOOOOOO. Because I'm kind.
Do I care if someone is 14 feet tall?
NOOOOOOO. Because I'm just that nice.
So, go ahead - keep slammin' those short jokes.
But my clothes are cheaper because they don't contain as much material.
So there.
Now shut up.

Thanks CAroll, Nana thinks she is adorable too.
Sharon, are you coming this way? There is a state park close to my area. Lake Bruin State Park, Poverty Point State Park a little north of us. there is someplace in Vidalia right beside the Mississippi River. If you could figure out how to maneuver Hope in my u shaped drive you could stay here. You have a generator? I know my neighbor wouldn't mind you staying on his property, but van't guarantee he would have a hook up for you

Leaving TX in April, doing the storm hop, skip, drive like crazy, stop in a couple of joints in West TX Panhandle, stop in one OK Panhandle Park, into eastern Colorado and more storm hop, skip, and drive like crazy to more northerly part of Colorado in May. Then up thru Wy and MT and pop over the border into Canada. Will then meander with the sistahs thru Canada into AK. Solstice at Fairbanks, Independence Day at Denali, meander AK then back to Canada and pop over the border into USA in September. Be in TX by October 25...maybe.

Oboy, oboy, oboy....summer in Alaska.

Thinking....wouldn't need H/U if it's not to hot, so would depend on what time of year it is. Send me a pm with where you're at and if you can a pix of your driveway. How far are you from the state park?
