Note Burning Party

I don't know if those things happen anymore but I'm gonna have one for Somewhere!! :D :D :D Yep, I wrote the last check today and I'll have the title in a few days. Also, another big decision is instead of going back to Key West and paying a high price for my RV lot, I'm getting estimates on having the carpet ripped out and a new floor put down. I figured that project will keep on giving long after KW is a picture in my mind and I have that from last year.

I know they say don't make big decisions after a loss but what the heck, this will be good for me. Just had to share! ;)

How exciting to be out from under a debt! Good for you!
And the new flooring sounds wonderful! You know we'll want updated pictures as you progress!

I've made my best and biggest decisions after a loss. It seems to stimulate me to make changes in my life that I have been putting off, and puts things in perspective for me in order to make those decisions and changes. I think it makes a difference if you are making decisions based on fear or inspiration.

Wooohooooo, Congrats. And there are certain major decisions best not made - but I think this is one you can do :)

Congratulations Carolyn! That is a great feeling. And you'll be glad you did the flooring. Key West will still be there.

Good for you Carolyn!!! More money for margaritas now!!! :D I thought you took the carpet out of Somewhere last year and put laminate down or maybe that was just part of the carpet. So what are your destination plans instead of KW?

Yaaay! There's a lot to be said for NO PAYMENTS!

AND ... you'll love a carpet-less RV. Love my floors.

@ Vickie, I took the carpet up from down the hall and portion of the bedroom and put peel & stick. That was such a hard job (for me anyway) I decided I'll pay someone to do the rest. Bring on the Margaritas!
@Liz, you are right KW will be there.

I've never regretted having the carpet taken out. Soooooo much easier to keep clean especially with pets. The only downside is the floors are cold so get throw rugs which can be washed. Love them. Congrats on being payment free.

Awesome...writing the check for that last payment on anything is always such fantastic kick-butt feeling! But you're certainly going to have to have company along with a campfire and margaritas to share the joy when you do that mortgage burning. ;) And of course we'll want pictures!
