Beth & Jean have touched down at Jenny's casita to stay for awhile. Got Beth parked next to the casita and Jean across the street at a neighbors who have not come back South yet. Will put Chris with her on Sunday.
Cooked them dinner tonight and found out Jean is Vegetarian so glad I had veggies, potatoes and salad for her to eat. When I make up the spaghetti sauce I'll put some to the side that has no meat in it for her.
Friday we head to Algodones Mexico for the party at the El Paraiso Restaurant, 1 plate of free food and all the margaritas you can drink till 1 P.M., entertainment and be with a group of Jennys friends.

Jenny has fallen in love with Peaches...the cats can't say the same thing lol :o

sounds like a good time will be had by all. don't do anything the rest of us wouldn't do - kind of leaves it wide open doesn't it.

Dang, dang, dang and double dang she rages as she stomps her mary janes and raises her fists to the ceiling!! Some of her favorite peeps less than 200 miles away and she can't go because of prior commitments!!!

Girls, don't let Jenny lure you into the Green Door while you're in Algodones.....had a (welllll, maybe more than one) B-day beer in there once a couple of years ago....still have fond thoughts of the lap dance I got!

I will definitely be asking Jenny about the lap dance, Sharon.

Ava, Sparkle got me the neatest raven t-shirt. She knows I like ravens - and it's long sleeved, so will be great next summer in Alaska.

Jenny is definitely a wonderful hostess - and even though I'm not the best guest - got here and holed up to work - I hope that I'm not the worst one either. Peaches, the dog who was so scared of everyone, decided that Jenny was good people immediately. When in the yard, after a bit of staying away from each other, Peaches went over and asked the cats to play. Hahahahaha - they didn't want to - who would have thought? Well, Peaches hated that - but she'll live with it.

We stayed up in the casita fairly late last night. Jenny and Dan showed Jean and I one of the cd's they have of Alaska, from Denali. I saw part of it at the visitor's center. It's amazing how what they show isn't the whole thing - or my memory has gone! But Dan feels the same way. It was the combination of Dan and Jenny's trip and talks of it and Sharon's trip - that made me set my date of this past summer to go to Alaska. So, I'm forever in their debt for inspiring me so.

Will make sure to have the camera tomorrow in Mexico.

Sorry Beth, Jenny wasn't there, it was my jeep club girls that led me into the den of perfidy. I was actually the designated driver until they found out my b-day was the next day. They do that to me a lot....the time they were experimenting with lemon drop martinis...thank goodness I was within crawling distance of Hope that time....Don't think I've ever looked at lemonade the same since....the time they said "just try a little taste of this"....good thing I wasn't near the ship's railing....well, you get the idea....

Not much to tell Mitch.....I made a comment (might have been after the 3rd beer) that a guy a couple of tables over was kind of cute, so Denise goes over and tells him it's my B-day and she'll buy a round for the table if he'll give me a lap dance..some guys will do anything for a beer!! LOL! The lap dance was as good as he looked....but you know how it goes...thay all look good after a couple of beers!! Ya gotta watch what you wish for around those gals....Have to say tho, it was quite a memorable b-day!

So now Tina, Carol and Carolyn know why I only had half a beer when we went to see the Nashville night life!

Outside Jenny's Casita. I think the Grinch had a thing for Beth.

We went out to look at the lights. I didn't have my camera on the right setting so they were really blurry. But imagine a whole street with every house decorated like this one is.
