I, too, belong to the Good Sam club, thereby getting me a discount for the first year, anyway, to the Good
Sam Emergency Road Service. I hope to never need it, but, if I do, I have heard good reports from the majority of those who've needed it. It covers all my vehicles, including trailer, truck, and any others I might add! Also covers any family members driving those vehicles, should they need road help. I used to belong to AAA, but they will only cover my truck. (Ford already covers my truck for another year, but not my trailer.) So I just received my new cards and am now covered wherever I go. It also gives me a 10% discount at certain campgrounds----not sure which ones, but I am sure there are many of them. It cost me 79.99 this first year, never to go above 109.00 after this initial year, so they say.
I need to call my insurance company (vehicle insurance company) to see just what the trailer is insured for. I am quite sure it's not covered for anything inside it, and I have a good amount of stuff in there. Good Sam has insurance coverage, too, which I need to examine to see what it would cost me to cover both my truck and my trailer and its contents. They say they will cover for FULL value of any loan you might have on it, plus up to 3,000 woth of stuff inside it. I could also take off collision costs for 6 months of the winter, and just keep comprehensive on it, with Good Sam. It sounds like something I need to investigate.
And that's all I know!
