This is the after picture from the painting of the posts and rails, with the blue shutters and light grey window boxes that were on the house. The original color on the window boxes was blue to match the shutters but I changed them to white, decided that was not the color and then tried a light gray instead.
In the end, I changed the color of the shutters to black to match the roof and also made the window boxes a darker shade of gray as well. This is the current picture as of now.
This last one is taken from the far side of my yard looking toward the house with the garage and part of my front yard.
Down the road, I will be planting some more bushes in front of the house and working on the landscaping. Want to put in a few flowers for some color along the side wall and by the side door landing.
My porch is open to any and all anytime you are in MI and by this way. I love to sit out there myself. I have a deck on back too, but it's in the sun so not much fun back there. Like to be where I can watch the action when there is any.
