I got photo's in Quartzsite they were awesome!!! Did you also see the meteor streak through the sky! WOW!!!

There was a meteor tonight? I must have missed it. However, we did see the Quadrantid Meteor Shower Jan. 4 out in Anza Borrego. Fantastic!

you will probably see lots of that sunset it was beautiful. I was watching the sky and said "wow it has the makes of a really pretty sunset (the clouds in the sky) and it didn't seem to being doing anything so added unless it bombs turned around a few minutes later and saw this way beautiful sky!!!

SPECTACULAR sunset pictures!

I had no idea you were close to Quartzite---I really need to get out a map and always check to see where in heck people are. I am so out of touch with places on the west coast and in the western part of this country.

Thank so much for the pictures....am saving them to my screen-saver slide show!

Yes, I'm right across the Colorado River. However, I haven't ventured over to "Q" yet because I'm driving only the motorhome this trip. Yes, it's small, but I'm not sure about where to park, etc. having never been there before. Crowds of people just aren't my thing, no matter how friendly the people might be. I might get brave this week, though. Meanwhile, Mayflower County Park in Blythe is as close to perfect, at least for me, as things can get.
