Problem Solved

Since getting my RV new in 2012, it's bothered me that when the shade on the door is down at night, there's a slightly more than 1 inch gap that would allow someone to see into my rig. Ever since I caught my 4 years older brother peeping through the bathroom window when I was getting ready for a shower, I've been paranoid about someone possibly looking in when changing clothes. It's amazing how something that happened more than 50 years ago can still cripple us.

So yesterday, I decided it was time to fix what was bothering me so. Here's the problem.

Here's how it looks when not in use. I left the shade down because it was too bright outside to get a good pic.

definitely works well and provides a better night darkening shade when parked near a bright lamp, etc. ...and then there is the thermal properties of keeping the heat out or the cold out.

Looks like a great solution.
The glass on my door is frosted and no shade. Can't really see in but it does little to keep light out.

That's pretty much what I want to do on all my windows. And even though my door window is frosted - I want that going ALL the way down - I learned how much that can get rid of drafts, etc. And it looks great. You did a wonderful job.

I want to make that type of blind for my back window but it's slightly bigger than the door...

That is so nice! What a great idea.

A nice thick insulated curtain would be great for the window and wall directly behind my head in my bed. As it is, I have to cover my head to stay comfortable enough to stay asleep.
