Christmas scenes from the Plaza

Postby asirimarco » Wed Dec 07, 2011 11:43 am

Went out last night to take some pictues of the sunset but it turned out to be nothing to write home about so we continued on to the Main Plaza in the old section of town. So glad we went. Very festive and again the side of Mexico no one in the states hears about. Hope you enjoy. The video takes a while but kind of neat.

Loved the pics of the church all lit up! Beautiful! The sunset was pretty too! (no such thing as a bad sunset!)
Barbie, Romeow, and Sophie, missing Lola! (and lots of ferrets running around in my heart!)

And in the video towards the end I loved watching the small children break out dancing in response to the livelier music! :)

Christmas in Mexico looks spectacularly colorful and joyous, despite the economic deparavity. I loved your latest blog entries, Carol----thanks for this wonderful Mexican Christmas and history and government lesson to boot! Your videos are all downloaded and play immediately----no delay at all.

Carol, I love to read your blogs. I am especially enjoying the ones in Mexico. I love the music, colors, food and culture of Mexico. I hope to go there someday, but in the mean time I will live vicariously thru your blogs. Hope you keep them up Rita

Carol, I couldn't wait to get home to my computer to listen to the music on your video. Hubby lived in Mexico for a couple years after he graduated from high school and used to speak fluent Spanish. What I would give to visit the country for real.

Loved the videos and the pictures especially the church, the lights were beautiful. Also the black baby donkey was so cute! Thank you so much Carol.
