Pics from the beach

Postby Mollysmom » Sun Nov 16, 2008 2:42 pm

I mentioned that I was sort of blue today so I wanted to post some pictures from my "therapy" trip to the beach with my best girl Molly.

I thought this picture was so cute :D

Image

My attempt at being "artsy"

Image

This made me laugh ! Sort of a beach scarecrow or a beach snowman !

Image

Molly watching the good ship How Does it Float heading out to sea

One more "artsy" photo

Image

It was a beautiful morning - Molly and I had a great walk and now it just may be nap time :D
A walk outside with my little dog helps every time !!!

Know how you feel. My dogs keep me grounded and don't let me feel lonely. No chance of me just staying under the covers feeling sorry for myself - the dogs INSIST that I take them walking and I always feel better.

Great pics. And yep - having a dog makes me be social and get out when I might not leave the rv some days. And when I say makes me be social - it's almost impossible for me to walk Peaches without having to stop and talk to several people. And now she's sitting at the door begging me to take her out - so I guess it's time :)

I'm glad you are feeling better - and remember, it's ok to not always feel like you're on top of the world - just so long as you don't let it cripple you.

WOW....what great beach pictures! It sure perked my day up to see those! Seems as if you and Molly had a happy beach walk, and that you are feeling a bit less blue. I know I don't know what I would do without my Molly, too!

Keep on taking those prize-winning type pictures! Thanks for posting them.

Great photos. I've ordered, but haven't yet received a Corel Kit. I allows you to take your favorite photos and turn them into Oil Paintings, Watercolor, Charcoal Sketches and two other options, can't remember what they are, but I'm looking forward to experimenting.

That'd be really cool Sparkle ! I'd love to be able to dink around with my photos but I'm too lazy to do much more then adjust the color a bit. I'll be interested to hear about that kit once you get it and start using it ...

Great pictures. I wish I lived near the ocean. I live near a river but it doesn't have the same effect. I don't know if it is the sound of waves or something that is released in the air but its better than medication. Of course walking helps too. :)

Shirl,
I have a quote hanging up that says
"The cure for anythin is salt water - sweat, tears or the sea." (Isak Dinesen)
I too think the ocean has some sort of magical powers

Trudy, I like that saying and it's so true. I am about one hour from Ocean City, Md which is on the Atlantic. When I get the winter hebbie jebbies I think I will take a drive, bundle up, get a cup of coffee and walk the beach. Something to look forward to. My hips would appreciate it too.
